It is September 1998 and the action centres on the ill-fated Raccoon City and the horrific consequences of the deadly T-virus outbreak, developed at the Umbrella facility. With a cover up required, Umbrella orders an elite team into Raccoon City to destroy all evidence of the outbreak and eliminate any survivors. Meanwhile, the US Government has quarantined the city and dispatched its own team of elite soldiers to determine the source of the mysterious outbreak. You are an Umbrella Security Services soldier (U.S.S.), competing alone or in up to four player co-op in a battle against all the competing forces at play in Raccoon City. Expect the return of original Resident Evil enemies, iconic landmarks such as the Raccoon City Police Department and fan favourite characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, who, as a rookie police officer in Raccoon City, is on your hit list to eliminate.
Resident Evil Survivor was released in late 2000 on the Playstation, and it immediately showed it age with languid graphics, extremely pixelated sprites, and more. I try to do my best to showcase the positives of most games, but this game stinks, so it will be hard. Let's see if I can do it. Before I start, it must be mentioned how Survivor could have been a decent enough game. Light gun support was planned for this game, and is actually available in the Japanese version. Most think it was disabled in the US version due to the Columbine shooting. That tragedy occurred in April 1999, this game was released in August 2000. That makes so little sense. Resident Evil Survivor takes place on Sheena Island, which is naturally home to an Umbrella facility specifically researching the development of Tyrants for use as Umbrella bio-weapons. The game's backstory is intriguing; especially how one Vincent Goldman has found a method to increase the rate at which T-Virus infection in humans will produce a viable Tyrant, rather than the standard zombie. His methods are definitely unethical and brutal, nice to know the kinds of people who get ahead at Umbrella.
Resident Evil: Survivor 2 - Code: Veronica is a game based on the Resident Evil franchise, similar in concept to the original Resident Evil: Survivor, though it is not actually related. It is a port of an arcade game. As in the original Code: Veronica game, Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside must escape Rockfort Island, which is infested with zombies. In this case however, the game can be played either with the Guncon 2 lightgun or with the standard controller as a first-person shooter. Players can choose either character or can play cooperatively as both. As in most lightgun games, the object is to make it through an environment while shooting enemies. It is somewhat less typical in that you have full roaming control over your character rather than being stuck on rails. More unusually, a timer begins as you enter each area. If the timer runs out before you leave, Nemesis will appear and chase you.

Best Games - GameSpot bring you the top games from our database of reviews. Find out what we consider to be the best video games before you make your next purchase. Resistance: Retribution is the first portable outing for Sony's grim alternate-history franchise. The Resistance series, like many other shooters, has thrived on the dual analog-stick controller of the PlayStation 3, and at first glance the leap to the PSP's single analog stick and face-button control scheme may seem a bit daunting. However, from the first moments of Resistance: Retribution, it is clear that the fast-paced, intense action of the Resistance series is well represented here thanks to clever controls, a powerful arsenal, and vibrant levels. Despite being less epic in scale than its forerunners and having a few rough edges, Resistance: Retribution is a remarkably successful shooter that looks great and is a lot of fun to play.

Ridge Racer for PSP - GameSpot offers reviews, previews, cheats, and more. Count on us for all of the latest on the Ridge Racer Sony PSP Game. Namco and Sony are now officially three for three when it comes to launching a new piece of Sony game hardware with a new game from Namco's Ridge Racer series. And like those previous Ridge Racer efforts, the first PSP installment in the series does a fine job of showing off the system's technical prowess while simultaneously providing more of the same smooth Ridge Racer gameplay that still holds up after all these years. While the gameplay in Ridge Racer is certainly no slouch, the real treat to Ridge Racer on the PSP is how it looks. Or, to get more specific, how it moves. This is the smoothest-running PSP game on the block at launch. The frame rate never stops to skip a beat, and all this ties in to give the game a great sense of speed. You really feel like you're burning down the track when you unlock the faster cars. On top of that, the environments all look fantastic. The roads are sharp, and you'll get different lighting reflections on the road surface from sunsets and stuff like that.

De most fontosabba gyerek, úgyhogy elindulsz utána. A végigjátszás mellett szeretnék egyúttal történeti áttekintést adni.

No. In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, it still doesn't make sense that Sonic the Hedgehog would need to race upon a hoverboard. That's like Cyclops from the X-Men buying a laser gun, or Iceman needing a snow cone. And even though there are a couple of speedy thrills, with a two-hour campaign, an overbearing plot, and lame course design, you need this hoverboard racer about as much as Wolverine needs a new set of Ginsu knives. The story is obviously ludicrous. After all, at their core, Sonic games have always been about the battle between a talking hedgehog in sneakers and a fat, mad scientist. But Zero Gravity is ludicrous in unexpected ways. The game begins with a rampage (ripped straight out of I, Robot) in which Sonic and company are caught in the middle when an ancient artifact they stumble upon turns out to be a prized possession of the robots' mother. The team investigates and quickly crosses paths with Dr. Robotnik, who swears he has nothing to do with the calamity, to which Sonic says "Well I guess for now we'll have to buy that Eggman isn't involved."
